IT Equipment Leasing and Finance
Investing in new technology doesn’t have to mean a large upfront outlay. Computer Alliance offers flexible IT leasing and finance options that allow your organisation to access the hardware, software, and services you need while managing cash flow and preserving capital for other priorities.
Whether you’re refreshing a fleet of laptops, upgrading server infrastructure, or rolling out new AV solutions, we structure finance agreements that align with your budget, your deployment timeline, and the projected life of the equipment.
Leasing vs Buying: What's Right for You?
Leasing spreads the cost of technology over a fixed term, converting what would be a large capital expense into manageable, predictable payments. At the end of the term, you have the option to return the equipment, continue using it, or upgrade to new technology.
Leasing is well suited to organisations that want to keep technology current with regular refresh cycles, prefer predictable operating expenditure over capital outlay, need to preserve cash reserves or borrowing capacity for other investments, and want to avoid owning depreciating assets.
Purchasing outright gives you full ownership from day one. This can be the right choice when the technology has a long useful life, your budget allows for capital expenditure, or you prefer to retain full control of the asset without end-of-term obligations.
Our finance agreements are structured as off-balance-sheet arrangements and are not reported as contingent liabilities. This can improve your organisation’s financial ratios and borrowing capacity compared to traditional asset purchases.
How Our Finance Solutions Work
Bundled Agreements
All equipment, software, and services – including provisioning, deployment, and managed services – can be incorporated into a single finance agreement. This simplifies administration and gives you a single payment that covers everything.
Flexible Payment Structures
Payments can be structured with varying periods to suit your budgetary cycle. We also offer payment holidays to reflect equipment commissioning rather than delivery. For example, if equipment is delivered in December but not deployed until February, the first payment can be structured to fall due in February.
Aligned to Asset Life
We structure finance terms to align with the projected life of the equipment. Core infrastructure, software, and peripheral devices may have different terms within the same agreement, ensuring you’re not paying for technology beyond its useful life.
Flexible End-of-Term Options
At the end of the agreement, you can continue using the equipment, return it and leverage our end-of-life services including data destruction and environmentally friendly eWaste recycling, or upgrade to new technology under a new agreement.
HPE Financial Services
We partner with HPE Financial Services to offer competitive financing rates, Fair Market Value leases with lower monthly payments, and finance leases that provide predictable costs and long-term ownership options. HPEFS enables organisations to deploy and manage IT with greater financial efficiency while maintaining access to the latest innovations.

School budgets are often tightly allocated. Leasing allows schools to equip students and staff with current technology without exhausting annual capital budgets. Payments can be timed to align with term dates and funding cycles.
