Persona Modelling

Understanding your end users and the work that they do is crucial to providing the right technology to assist them in their everyday tasks. Persona modeling enables you to group users according to their technology usage / work priorities. The process also enables organisations to standardise endpoint deployment simplifying management and procurement in the long term.

Refresh

Device refresh programs whether undertaken as projects or as a BAU process are complicated and time consuming. Computer Alliance can take some of the pain away by simplifying new device procurement, for example holding devices until you are ready to deploy ensuring that the devices are there when you need them. Using our extensive service catalogue, we can even manage the entire process from start to finish creating a seamless experience for end users.

Imaging & application load

Whether you are using traditional device management tools or modern management ensuring that devices arrive with end users ready to use can be challenging. Computer Alliance can design, host, configure and deploy SCCM or Intune images at source, provisioning devices before the reach you and removing the need for hands on work before deployment.

Hosted Configuration Infrastructure

Where devices need to be domain joined during the imaging process, we can host a secure access server at our provisioning centre in Brisbane providing VPN network access. Set up of this service is free of charge and there are no ongoing management costs, we take care of it all.

Custom BIOS Settings

Where your organisation is using custom BIOS settings, we can again provision these before delivery. This includes, but is not limited to, BIOS asset tags, security/ policy edits or even your logo on boot. You provide the requirements and our team deliver devices pre-configured and ready to roll.

Packing Services

Many of our customers seek to improve the experience of their teams when receiving a new device. Often this is providing a package of supporting peripherals, a carry bag and maybe some welcome instructions. Provisioning this can be time consuming so Computer Alliance can put the packages together for you, including custom instructions and even not tech accessories if you chose. Your end users simply receive everything they need in a single neat package, again enhancing their experience.

Labelling & Tagging

You need to know that assets are safe and work upon deployment. Our service teams can unbox, test and tag devices before they are delivered, vastly reducing dead on arrival instances and ensuring that devices arrive in the hands of end users in a safe and working condition. Asset tags can also be applied to help you track your fleet and the service is supplied with full reporting for device management updating.

Managed Delivery

Computer Alliance runs multiple warehouses across Brisbane as well as a fleet of its own vehicles. This means that we are in a position to control delivery of devices in Southeast Queensland with a high degree of precision. Managed delivery means we will work with you and your team to understand when and where you need technology delivered and manage this process ourselves ensuring we delivery on your timeline, not ours.

Pre-provisioning

One of the most frustrating things for end users is updates on a new device when it arrives. Computer Alliance can pre-provision devices to remove this pain. We ensure that the devices are pre-provisioned with bloatware removed, OS and drivers up to date and ready to go before delivery. Devices arrive in a state ready to receive an image through modern management deployment solutions.

White Glove Deployment

The Rolls Royce of customer service. End users are guided through the process of receiving new technology by one of our team of tech experts. Their new device is set up on their desk for them, their files are transferred (where required) and their old device can even be taken away. This service is available country wide.

Ship to Home

Part of the managed deployment service stack we can deliver devices wherever they are required. Many organisations now have remote workers who rarely, if ever come into a central office. Managing their technology needs can be a challenge and direct delivery to their particular workplace, even if its home, is a way to simplify this challenge without the logistical headaches for your business.

Forward Stocking

Our significant warehousing capabilities enable us to hold stock for customers and take the pain of long lead times away. We have used this solution to reduce lead times for many of our customers from weeks or sometimes months to merely days. Working with you and your team to forecast demand we ensure that stock is available on our shelves and ready to go when you need it.

Automated Provisioning

Using Intune and Autopilot? We can help. Computer Alliance can work with our vendors to register your devices in your Tennent and ensure that the devices are ready for provisioning when they arrive. We can even take the devices through the provisioning steps where required to ensure devices arrive with an end user ready to use where required. Put simply we can do as much or as little of this process as is required.

Asset Tagging

Computer Alliance can add physical or digital asset tags to devices as they are deployed again removing the hands-on work required from your busy IT team. We work with you to understand the requirements for asset tagging and shape the solution to meet your needs, not our own agenda. Asset tagging is undertaken in our secure provisioning facility and full reporting is provided following deployment.

Warranty Support

Whist warranty support is largely the responsibility of the vendor we understand that things may not always go smoothly. With this in mind, we offer additional support for escalation and warranty management which improves on standard vendor warranty offerings. In addition, we can assist by managing accidental damage repairs, simplifying vendor engagement and even collecting and re-delivering damaged devices where required.

Accidental Damage Protection

Accidents happen and when they do, they can be costly. Computer Alliance have a range of vendor specific options to protect your devices from accidental damage. Solutions range from insurance to enhanced Warranty packages and can be tailored to your organisation’s requirements.

Data security is paramount in the modern world and retaining control of your data is often important for our customers. Keep your drive is a simple solution that ensures that even if devices need to be removed from your environment for repair the device drive is retained by you during the process ensuring your data is never exposed and remains within your control at all times.

Online Data Backup & Recovery

We offer a number of solutions for data backup including both local and cloud hosted data. Many organisations are surprised to discover that their M365 data is not actually backed up by Microsoft and only discover that they are not covered when it is too late. Return Packaging

Want to provide a seamless experience for your teams? Computer Alliance can provide secure return packaging for devices to be sent to us for processing or collect in bulk from a nominated location. End users can even be provided with a return package when they receive their new device seamlessly enabling them to return their old device upon receipt of a new on.

Data Wipe

We use military grade data wipe technology to securely wipe drives and ensure that your valuable data is permanently deleted from your old device. In addition, we provide certification (where required) of the wipe process ensuring you have an audit trail to prove permanent data destruction.

Recycling

More and more organisations are considering their impact on the environment, and our device recycling solution can assist with this. We can facilitate collection and secure data destruction before ensuring the physical device is made available for future “second life” deployment. This approach supports the circular economy and ensures that devices no longer end up in landfill.

Disposal

Not all devices can be repurposed, but it is still important to minimise the elements that end up in landfill. Computer Alliance can facilitate secure destruction of devices including recovery of valuable recyclable elements (plastics & metals) as part of the process thus limiting waste and further feeding the circular economy.
